Animal Print Heaven: We salute Rodarte for a wildly animalistic inspiration at their SS2014 runway presentation.

We’re loving the entries so far for our contest to celebrate You Can’t Fake Fashion. The bag auction ended on Monday, but luckily there’s more time for the graphic competition, where we challenge our readers to alter a bag digitally. It’s easy. Just download the tote image and use your imagination (and Photoshop, or whatever software you like). The winner gets $500 worth of eBay goodies. All artwork must be submitted by 12 p.m. EST on April 5th. Enter the contest here.

Got an eye for design and a heart for fashion? As part of the 2013 2013 You Can’t Fake Fashion campaign, The Inside Source is hosting a design contest to find the best digitally-created tote to illustrate that you really can’t fake fashion. All you have to do is download the tote image and logo, get artsy in your favorite design program and submit your creation by 12PM EST on April 5. So what’s in it for you? Not only will your design be featured on eBay’s The Inside Source – you’ll also receive a $500 eBay gift card and your very own You Can’t Fake Fashion tote signed by some of the campaign’s participating CFDA designers. So go ahead and show us that YOU CAN’T FAKE FASHION!
Rules and stuff:
Newsflash: The holidays are over, dear friends. Everyone’s putting away their Christmas lights, throwing away the trees. Winter’s chill isn’t nostalgic and charming any longer; it’s just simply cold. Is it wrong to be dreaming of surf and sunshine already? For those of you living in or traveling to warmer, more beachy locales, this post is for you. This gorgeous snap of actress Clemence Poesy sporting a Rodarte sweater and clutching a well-waxed board has us hankering for a tropical vacation. We’ve got the shades, now we just need the board. Good thing eBay has a slew of used and new boards from which we can choose. Oh, we’ll also need an invite… and some more vacation days.

Combing through backstage during New York’s Fashion Week, the team at wgsn caught this creative model getting ready at Rodarte. It seems while people were snapping her, she was snapping back on some “next” level. The camera in hand is the Sardina Lomography Camera. Some can cost up to $100, but we spotted a few on eBay with bids starting at $29. Get yourself one of these Sardina’s on eBay and start experimenting with your photography.
