![Burnout Never Looked So Lovely

Cars are important to us. It’s one of the items that aficionados tend to peruse eBay for. Personally, my favorite are the sexy muscle cars found on the site. That’s why New Zealand-born photographer Simon Davidson’s latest series, Burnout, really struck a chord. The shots are peaceful in all its rage, sometimes even seeming as if the cars are floating in clouds.
Davidson photographed the self-built, heavily customized vehicles all over Australia during car competitions. The images were… [MORE] published Garagisme, a Paris-based Biennial dedicated to celebrate car culture within a gorgeous aesthetic.
