A Different Animale
Looking for a new swimsuit that is a little bit scandalous, totally unique, and potentially hazardous when it comes to bad tan lines? Minimale Animale is your best bet. Started in 2011 by stylist-turned-designer Cassandra Kellogg, the line favors untraditional elements not often seen in even the sexiest suits: zippers, multi-layers, even those nearly iconic barely-there palm tree cut-outs. Feeling adventurous? eBay has a seller who is listing multiple pieces right now.

Josh Goot
Firmly focused on bold colors and strong silhouettes, Sydney-based designer Josh Goot recalls the work of Balenciaga and Christopher Kane — not bad comparisons to earn, really. He has long been on the radar for fashion insiders like blogger Elin Kling and model Miranda Kerr, but isn’t necessarily a household name in the States yet. If you’re having a hard time finding Goot’s wares at the stores back home, there are a handful of his kaleidoscopic-print party dresses on eBay right now. Check it out.

Brow Envy
Long ago anointed the patron saint of eyebrows, Anastasia and her line of products still reign supreme. From her 5-Element Brow Kit to her Beauty Express package, girls everywhere continue to pencil-in and pluck using the artist’s wisdom. As we’ve stated before, one of our secrets here at The Inside Source is scoring beauty products on eBay (yes, sometimes for less). The Anastasia range is no exception. Check out the goods here.

Company Girl: Whitney Brown
Feature: Co-owner of Valentine-NYC.com and model
What you generally do all day: I spend most days working from my apartment if I’m not producing a shoot for Valentine or at a modeling job. I spend a lot of time using Skype so I can talk to my business partner Paloma, who lives in LA. We’re constantly discussing branding, photography, collaborations, fabric, and production for our next Valentine project.
Describe work environment: My apartment has amazing energy and lots of space so I never feel too claustrophobic. I am always listening to my Spotify playlist (Musica Bonita), burning my Milly+Wong candle and drinking La Colombe coffee from my French press. At some point I’ll usually have a casting or a lunch meeting (Hampton Chutney or The Butchers Daughter are my favorites for lunch). And if I’m already out I’ll try to get a workout in at Body By Simone or Equinox in Soho (booty lift Wednesdays woot woot!). If it’s a really good day I’ll meet my boyfriend for drinks and dinner at Barrio Chino when he gets off work. Love me some Mexican! Go home, walk the dog, another Skype with Paloma then chill with my man. Life ain’t so bad.

Glam up your gorgeous manicure (because we know everyone is sporting some serious nail art these days) with an out-of-this-world cocktail ring. Check out these Swarovski numbers we found here on eBay for a little glitter. If you’re looking for something less obvious, YSL is known for their creative creations. And it’s always worth checking out the treasure trove of vintage selections to see if you can score something unique.

Insta-Peep-O-Gram: Codie Young

Australian model Codie Young might just be our new favorite redhead. She’s like a more delicate version of Guinevere Van Seenus (whose own career, we might add, has seriously withstood the test of time). We’ve been following Young on Instagram for awhile now and we suggest you do the same. You’ll get a whole lot of cute Polaroids, shots of her own artwork, and snaps of recent editorials she’s appeared in. Keep you eyes on this one. We suspect big things.

Model Moment: Sam Rollinson
Last season it seemed there wasn’t a runway show British beauty Sam Rollinson wasn’t in. All told, she clocked in at 62, including Valentino, Saint Laurent, and Stella McCartney. Her massive show presence is a sign of big things to come. Right now, she’s only got one campaign for Balenciaga under her belt, but we suspect that’s going to change, especially since Rollinson recently switched from New York Models to Women Management, who will certainly be pouring their efforts into her promising career.
