Gold: Never Enough
We’re going with the gold theme today, and this post is for the gentleman in your life. Racking your brain for holiday gift ideas? Consider a pair of gold cufflinks, a money clip, maybe a — less literal, perhaps — James Bond Goldfinger poster. Or, for the essentialist in your life, get him the real deal. eBay seller apmex will get you all sorted out in that department. Click here to see.
And just FYI, all of the above items can be scored on eBay by clicking through to this “More Gold!” post on Polyvore. Happy shopping!

Insta-Peep-O-Gram: Suit Up

Meet Sean Hotchkiss, a former fashion and style writer for GQ (before getting scooped up recently by J. Crew). His Instagram feed is a mix of behind-the-scenes action, global travels, and a few half-eaten donuts for good measure. Unlike our usual roster of must-follow fashion folk, it’s nice to get a man in the mix for a different, more masculine perspective.

Suspended
Though with a pair of today’s fitted, well-tailored trousers, suspenders seem hardly necessary, they sure do make a fine accessory for a man (or a woman, really). We love this shot of Pharrell Williams, sporting a relaxed, hard-day’s-work look, suspenders hung loosely about his legs. The suspenders seen here are certainly traditional, but if you want to spice things up a bit, the options out there right now run the gamut. Check out these Navy Paisley Print Braces by Topman or these classic Chase Stripe Suspenders by Trafalgar. Lo and behold, eBay had its own funky options, like this unisex set in a geometric orange pattern.

What’s Up, Doc?
You’ve seen them once, and you’re seeing them again. Welcome the massive return of the ’90s staple shoe, Doc Martens. With their signature rubber sole and thick stitching, the boots are one of the most recognizable in the history of kicks. Ultimately, the design of new Docs hasn’t changed much, with the company opting to stay true to their wheelhouse while adding some contemporary selections to the board. If you’ve held onto your pair from high school, pull them back out. And if they’re not your style anymore, keep in mind there’s a market on eBay just chomping at the bit to buy them.

Pretty in Pink
This boy did one heck of a job matching his glasses to his collar to his lips, that’s for sure. We love the play on pastels and the pop of delicate color, especially after two months of seeing mostly black coats and jeans wandering around New York City. Winter can be so dull, can’t it? So stock up for spring and summer of 2013 by adding these pink Acne shades to your collection. Or, better yet, go somewhere tropical this winter and wear color to your heart’s content. Oh, and please send pictures. We’ll be living vicariously through you.

A Man’s World
By Jauretsi
If you’re related to a man who takes his home bar seriously, then you’ll notice a myriad of smoking paraphernalia associated with this gentleman of the old world. Here’s a perfect spread of items brought to you by the meticulous team at thingsorganizedneatly via www.quoteagentleman.com. Also, what would a smoker do without a challenging game of numbers. Insert dice.
To purchase a bar set for the man in your life, take a look at eBay for Scotch glass decanters, smoking pipes, cigarette cases, cigar boxes, Stanwells, and dice. Ladies, if you must carry your own smoking accessory, consider the cigarette holder (think Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany’s).
