I Spy: French Wall Sconces
Mixing eras and styles, this Copenhagen apartment-turned-showroom perfectly brings together an Italian wicker chair, a Ludvig Pontoppidan settee, and a McCollin Bryan round Lens table into one cohesive vision. And you can’t forget about the stellar lighting, especially the French floral wall sconces circa 1930 — which eBay actually has a few of. Click here to see.

Taking cues from the famous midcentury Sputnik lamp, this Nikoll Emil Stejnar Blowball Sconce bursts outward like a gorgeous explosion of glass and gold. Designed by Emil Stejnar in the ’50s and produced by Viennese manufacturer Rupert Nikoll, the item is a “masterpiece of modernist design,” as the seller puts it. Click here to check it out on eBay.

I Spy: Glass Pendants
Hanging glass pendants in a kitchen is a great way to shed some light on your counters without having to invest in expensive recessed lighting. The ones seen here are the perfect solution to lighting in an older space with enviably high ceilings. We scoped out eBay for similar finds. Though you’ll have a ton to choose from (see here), we were big fans of the Tom Dixon chrome pendants and these Moravian star pendants.

Okay, I’ll admit it: I am a chandelier junkie. Whenever I see one, I want it. This proves to be a problem, being that chandeliers aren’t necessarily the easiest thing to incorporate into a home decor in multiples — unless, of course, you live in an estate fit for any Downtown Abbey character, and you very well might. Nevertheless, I am always on the hunt for that perfect chandelier. And if I can’t have it, you will! Check out this one in the French style, or this six-arm one from Europe with dripping crystals. If you’re really going for it, there’s an absolutely stunning brass and crystal number, also in the French style, at the Buy It Now price of $1,795.
