Insta-Peep-o-Gram: Kayla Varley
Photographer Kayla Varley’s Instagram is one of those feeds you stumble upon and are immediately drawn into. Her grainy, moody images and black and white self-portraits tell a story that is at the same time extremely personal and wholly relatable. It is — in the best sense of the word and with zero amount of judgment — girly. When scrolling through Kayla’s shots, you feel as though you have been invited on very specific journey, taken on a road trip and happily resigned to sit in the backseat and simply watch.
