The Codex Seraphinianus is one of those creative masterworks that only a genius could strive to achieve. Created by Italian artist, architect, and industrial designer Luigi Serafini over the course of two years, the book is an encyclopedia of the imaginary. From large-eyed fish to water-logged labyrinths, each made-up article is accompanied by text in fictional language. It is a marvel — and, believe it or not, a genuine, first edition is currently available on eBay. Click here to see it.
