Generators are Big This Week

By Jauretsi

If you have experienced the Sandy Storm this week in the United States, you’re probably without any power for a few days. If you have loved ones in the area, consider purchasing a generator for the next few days of blackout. What better gift than light and electricity? There’s several options within different price points, for example the Tradespro 850/1200 watt 2 stroke portable generator (bottom right) runs only $100. The DuroMax 4400 Watt Quiet Portable Electric Start RV Gas Powered Camping Generator (top image) is going for $599. Then there is the more deluxe Pentagon Tools Emergency RV Portable 8500 Watt Peak Quiet Gas Generator (bottom left) which sells for a whopping $720. If none of these tickle your interest, check out various other generator models on eBay. If you don’t need a generator for this particular disaster, consider nabbing one for the hell of it. If not for disaster mode, then perhaps for generating a party deep in the middle of nowhere… lights and music, anyone? Isn’t that freedom worth investing in?
