The Descendants
Model and illustrator Langley Fox sports one of the only surnames that has stood the test of time: Hemingway. Yes, Langley — the great-grandaughter of Ernest, daughter of Muriel, and sister of Dree — has some mighty big shoes to fill. Creativity (not to mention good looks) seems to be a blessing of the gene pool: Langley’s successful career in fashion is complimented by her clever sketches, her collaboration with Made Her Think jewelry being particularly noteworthy. While her beauty is certainly worthy of the page of any fashion magazine, her art has a value all its own. We look forward to seeing more of Ms. Hemingway’s extracurricular pursuits and collaborations in the future.

Damien Doodles

By Jenny Bahn

No one captures the playful vibrancy of the fashion industry quite like illustrator Damien Florebert Cuypers. Using soft, chunky lines and impressionistic tendencies, Damien is able to convey the likenesses of fashion mainstays such as Alexa Chung, Giovanna Battaglia, and Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist without coming off as predictable or obvious. His unique talents have been commissioned by everyone from T Magazine to the online website of all things gorgeous, Nowness.com. He’s also illustrated a beautiful French children’s book by author Arthur Rimbaud, Le Bateau Ivre
