Newsflash:  Isabel Marant Dress

We spotted not one, but two Isabel Marant Spring dresses on eBay this week. The first is the white IM “Joane” dress for $850. The dark version has a bit more gypsy-feel with gold sequins on black, available for $499. Both retail at $1,140, and both are “Buy It Now” prices (no bidding wars, ladies). If you miss either of these sales, just type in “Isabel Marant Joane embellished embroidered sequin dress” into your eBay Feed to snatch up the next available one.  On your mark, get set, go!

Red Carpet Roundup

It was a battle between old Hollywood glamour and futuristic fashion at the Oscars last night, with the likes of Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence preferring traditionally feminine numbers by Oscar de la Renta and Dior Haute Couture, respectively. But we were really adoring the sleek, narrow column trend happening, with stars like Jessica Chastain in a gold beaded gown by Giorgio Armani (perhaps the evening’s best) and Halle Berry making up for her previous Golden Globes misstep by wearing an absolutely killer body-con gown by Versace.

McQueen’s Dragonfly
Alexander McQueen is swirling around dragonfly’s. It’s not wonder since they represent “the light” and thirst for life, which is something the designer embodied wholeheartedly. The dress is a mirrored feast of dragonflies on a body sculpted silhouette made of wool-silk. It can be found on MyTheresa, although we spotted more incredible Mcqueen fitted dresses on eBay.

6 Things Every Girl Should Have in Her Closet: Kate Schelter
By Jauretsi
Kate Schelter is a curious lady with her hands in many pots. In her younger years, Kate studied graphic art and adored fashion, so she decided to open her own firm, Kate Schelter LLC, specializing in both passions — creative direction and fashion styling. She’s styled campaigns for Lulu Frost, Hollywould, and Wren and styled for names ranging from the Olsen twins to Margherita Missoni. We asked the image consultant to share her top six essentials for any woman’s wardrobe.
(1) Underpinnings: Hanky Panky, Woldford stockings, Ten Undies. Once you know your size, you can’t mess it up on eBay
(2) Heels: Gianvitto Rossi Black 4” stilleto. Cheap shoes scream “I ruined your look”, great ones complete it
[MORE]
(3) Coats: Comme des Garcons camel trench, Yves Saint Laurent faux leopard print coat
(4) Fabulous Dress: Something wonderful, colorful, memorable. For example, Vintage YSL, Ungaro, Oscar de la Renta
(5) Accessories: Beaver felt trilby (Lock and Co), antique jewelry (gifted by someone very special)
(6) Red Lipstick (Chanel): eBay is a dream for finding your favorite discontinued colors and products

DIY: 2 Scarves = 1 Dress

By Jauretsi

I’ve recently become obsessed with the taste and aesthetic of the crafty ladies behind ParkandCube thanks to the tip off by WhatDoIWear. Here’s an idea so simple, you wonder why it didn’t occur to you naturally. Get yourself a vintage scarf (no worries, I spotted some for you here on eBay) and take out your scissors, threads, measuring tape, and needles. Now, you’ve got yourself a Luxury item.
