Let There Be Light

Baltimore-based and Korean-born light artist Chul Hyun Ahn specializes in expressing “zen notions of the infinite and the void,” where the dimensions of space are communicated to the viewer with colorful lights of varied intensity. His works are beautiful rabbit holes, optical illusions that explore the impossible scope of the universe and our place within it.

Eye-Candy  By Jauretsi The new Resort 2013 collections released a few weeks ago have enough candy colored inspirations to make Willy Wonka a proud corrupter of sweets. Erin Fetherston tells Style.com “it’s about energetic, bright, crisp colors”. Other designers such as Rebecca Minkoff, Thakoon and Yigal Azrouel have all taken a page from the eye-candy inspiration and served up a collection of delectable pieces themselves. Keep an eye open for the eye-popping colors to grace the streets soon.
