Coming Up Roses
Mixed media is massive in fashion right now. (Luca Mainini, anyone?) Here, designer SixLee stays on trend with a lookbook pumped up and artistically augmented by collage artist Ernesto Artillo. The results are stunning. Click here to see the rest.

Artist Peter Beard is a constant source of inspiration for us over here, especially when it comes to his incredibly dynamic collages, which serve as true diaries of an artist. Colorful and chaotic, we can only hope to live (and interpret) lives so beautifully. Want to own a tiny fraction of Beard’s big life? There are pages available for sale on eBay. Check them out here.

Artist Alert: Lola Dupre
Splintered and kaleidoscopic, the work of collage artist and illustrator Lola Dupre takes images and shatters them beautifully, forcing them into a layered, fascinating prism. Her collages — which use paper, scissors, and glue to create on wood panels — have been seen in the likes of New York Magazine, Flaunt, and Flair Italia.

Artist Alert: Sammy Slabbinck
We just can’t get enough of these collages by Belgian artist Sammy Slabbinck. Utilizing nostalgic, vintage-looking photographs and drawings, Slabbinck puts his creative spin on each image, reconstituting them into modern surrealist works of art. It’s a gorgeous little trip… and one definitely worth taking. Hop aboard!

Insta-Peep-O-Gram: Old Treasures
"My grandad passed just before Christmas. On Monday they are getting rid of everything in his house… I managed to take a few keepsakes today. A set of dominoes he carved, his old Ray Bans, WW2 medals and a street guide to Birmingham were amongst the treasures," writes Lauren Sissons. Above is a sweet homage to her grandfather, his items catalogued and snapped for one very special Instagram shot.
