Vintage Playboys

The other day, while checking out the shops along Bleecker Street in New York City’s West Village, we stumbled upon this unique window display housing 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s Playboy Magazines. This copy, which unfortunately wasn’t for sale - regardless of our begging and failed negotiation tactics, had an Ivy League School theme - perfect to place on a coffee table. Fear not, we found a few other classic vintage issues in the eBay closet to begin amassing the pinup collection.

Ezra Stoller Photography

The folks at Club Monaco posted this photo snapped by Ezra Stoller in honor of an upcoming collection of his works to be shown at Yossi Milo Gallery in Chelsea through March 2nd. The show, Ezra Stoller: Beyond Architecture, features five decades of his documentation of legendary architects. We discovered a ton of Ezra Stoller collectibles on eBay to get a head start researching this brilliant talent.

Classic Chanel

Read this blog a hundred years from now and you’ll find yet another writer singing the praises of Chanel. Such is the hazard of a timeless brand. Since being founded in 1909, the house has become eponymous with class, down to the typeface on bottles such as the ones seen above. Head over to eBay to see if you can score a ‘lil vintage chic.

Backstage Louise Goldin

At this years Fashion Week, we poked around for some new hairstyles backstage. We found that Designer Louise Goldin, however, opted for the very classic bun which we found quite fitting for the collection. To see what I mean, check out the clothes here. You can’t go wrong with the classics!
