Over this past weekend, designer and artist Tara Subkoff gathered the hardcore hip women of New York to present her designs at the LES hotel on Allen street. Taking a breaks from all the madness at Lincoln Center and Milk Studios, the evening was a small crew of Tara’s creative confidantes Chloe Sevigny, Kim Gordon, Natasha Lyonne, Arden Wohl, Lissie Trullie, and Mandie Erickson. The Inside Source attended and appreciated Tara’s presentation which are usually “out of box” in terms of delivering the clothes within an art installation setting. In this case, Tara presented an Impromptu Opera to celebrated Save.Love.Give. (an organization that allows you to save on your phone bill and help women worldwide achieve financial empowerment). Pictured above is model Tarajia Morrell revealing Subkoffs secret message tucked behind one of Imitation of Christs dress.
