Harmony Korine is never known to be shy exploring teenage delinquency. Booze, drugs, violence, and sex are served up like a hot platter. The difference between each movie is his unusual female casting, and the revealing performances he unfolds as a director. These actresses get to test out their bad selves, while expanding into celluloid adulthood. Chloe Sevigny (Kids), and Macaulay Culkin’s once girlfriend, Rachel Miner (Bully) both took the ride, and emerged respected actresses.

Who is his muse this time (cue drumroll)? Both Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez (Justin Bieber’s gal) are playing.. um.. loose chicks, to put it kindly. We’re loving their candy colored ensembles as published on TIS early July. Anyway, no good girl is too sacred for Harmony. Spring Breakers will premiere for the first time in North America at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival in September. P.S. Yes, that crazy looking drug dealer is James Franco. Hold your hats. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
