Recently, I discovered the Instagram of camping company Poler Stuff. Their feed makes you just want to pack up your vehicle and head to the mountains in all their cool gear. Their website boasts world travels on a section called “Adventures" that will inspire you to get out of your cubicle and see the world. To follow them, take a look at their Tumblr or Instagram page, and get swooped away into the wild in style. Don’t forget to check eBay’s camping essentials to prep you for the big voyage.

The puffer vest. One of those warm and toasty items of clothing most often associated with function, not fashion: fishing trips on freezing mornings, sub-zero ski trips, camping with the fam. Despite their tendency to go disastrously wrong, there’s a reason the puffer vest has stuck around for as long as it has, and that reason has something to do with keeping you very, very warm. Yes, when February comes around, you might be begging for one of these to double (or triple) layer underneath a coat, just to make sure you keep the essentials warm. Check out these options from Quiksilver, True Religion, and Aeropostale.
Here’s what we call “stepping up your game” in the world of camping. This very chic set up was spotted by The Black Workshop via Art&Design’s Facebook page. We must admit, the idea of Glamping (Glamour + Camping) seems more enticing every day. Here’s a few selections for large tents on eBay to begin tickling your adventure side. With the proper trucking devices, one could even, dare I say, move out to the country just a little longer than expected. Consider it alternative living…Thoreau style.
