Newsflash:  Isabel Marant Dress

We spotted not one, but two Isabel Marant Spring dresses on eBay this week. The first is the white IM “Joane” dress for $850. The dark version has a bit more gypsy-feel with gold sequins on black, available for $499. Fifty Shades of Gray  When it comes to functional (and fashionable) wardrobes, models do it best. It makes sense, really, given that these girls are on the go nearly 24/7, living on airplanes and out of suitcases. They’ve got to be comfortable while still knowing the lens is going to be on them at all times. Here, model Jac Jagaciak is living proof that sticking to your staples can still be stylish. The mixing and matching of blacks and grays allows each individual piece to shine on its own. To easily put together this look on your own, check out this sporty, dark gray jacket with shearling hood by Reed Krakoff on Polyvore. Black and Cream 

H&M keeps it simple in their latest Spring 2013 look-book, working with interesting silhouettes using predominately black, cream, and splashes of red. The variety in shape and structure is refreshing (though not necessarily new). It’s nice to see a mass retailer willing to experiment with — or “borrow”, some might say — the oversized jackets and thick, embroidered sweaters we’ve seen designers whipping up over the last year or so. We’re excited to see these looks out in stores. One question: Will 2013 be the year we see the return of the bolo tie?
