Game of Thrones for Your Guinea Pig
Probably one of the most adorable things we’ve ever seen on eBay, this regal handmade chain mail lets you role-play with your pet. Proceeds from the sale of this armor go to rescue and rehabilitate guinea pigs. We’re not joking.
To bid on the glorious costume for your furry friend (or read up on the non-profit organization), visit eBay.
A Chat with Tommy Hilfiger
The awesome eBay auction continues with designer duffle bags curated by CFDA’s top designers and Details Magazine. We’ve spoken to a few incredible designers this week about their creations. Today’s chat is with the king of lifestyle brands, Tommy Hilfiger, who took the time to share his own inspirations on travel and leisure.
Jauretsi: Describe the inspiration for your duffle bag design.
Tommy Hilfiger: The bag is inspired by collegiate sporting clubs: rowing, sailing, cricket. The leather straps and detailing in our signature spirited blues and athletic reds combined with gold hardware make the bag sporty yet sophisticated.
J: Name three of your travel essentials.
TH: There are classic pieces I take with me every time I travel: 1) A tailored navy blazer, 2) Chinos, and 3) Button-down shirts to mix-and-match. Versatile… quality pieces are the key to dressing well while traveling.
TH: Our home on Mustique, a quiet island in the West Indies, is my favorite place to unwind with my family. It’s where we like to spend most of the summer.

Let the Duffle Auction Begin!
Today is the day we promised you some original Designer duffle bags, courtesy of DETAILS and CFDA. Visit eBay's auction this morning to look through a healthy selection of bespoke bags from designers Marc Jacobs, Robert Geller, Billy Reid, and Rag & Bone. Remember, 100% of the proceeds will go toward the Details x CFDA project. We asked one of our duffle designers, Ovadia & Sons to expand more on their travel vibe…
Jauretsi: Describe the inspiration for your Duffle Bag design.
Ovadia & Sons: The idea behind the design was to turn it into a bag that was used by someone serving in the military during the WWII era. He collected all of the patches from friends and people he met while serving. We wanted to give it an imperfect, “did it myself” feel. All of the patches used are authentic WWII era. The orange strap was added as a replacement for a worn strap.
J: Name 3 travel essentials when you travel.
O&S: 1. New Balance 1500 shoes 2. Bose noise canceling headphones 3. Ovadia & Sons Denim Western Shirt
J: What’s your next big escape?
