Tried and New
We know you can’t get away from your vintage-inspired shades, but we invite you to consider switching up the color for a minute. Though you can absolutely never go wrong with a pair of solid black sunglasses, it’s time to step out of your comfort zone. The ones seen above are a good start, training wheels for the tentative fashion fan. The shape is familiar, but the color is fresh — and beautifully complements the gray jacket and pocket square, don’t you think? We do. Head on over to Warby Parker to see what they have in stock. Better yet, stop by Moscot, the absolute best NYC staple when it comes to vintage and vintage-inspired eyewear.

The Real Magic School Bus

By Jenny Bahn

No longer do you have to be in New York, Paris, London, or Milan to be at the forefront of fashion. Warby Parker is democratizing the experience, bringing their showroom full of super cool glasses on a tour around the United States. To accomplish this goal, the Warby Parker team has transformed a big yellow school bus — “knitted out” as they say — into a wood-paneled showcase lined with their vintage-inspired eyewear and shelves full of books.

They’ve already hit New York, Boston, and Philly, but there are more stops to go. If you live in Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, San Diego, or Los Angeles, you’re in luck. They’ll be on the road until February 19th, 2012. To learn more about the Warby Parker Class Trip, visit their website
