Albert Watson
Taken for Vogue in 1977, this shot by Scottish photographer Albert Watson still feels relevant today. Though well known for his fashion and art photography, Watson’s most recognizable image is a portrait of Alfred Hitchcock holding a dead goose, which ran in Harper’s Bazaar in 1973 — his first celebrity portrait of many. Over the course of his impressive career, Watson has shot everyone from President Bill Clinton to Kate Moss.

Tom Ford Frames
Vogue cover girl Kate Upton is smokin’ hot and turning heads on newsstands this month (see the slideshow). Sure, we’re feelin’ her Jason Wu shorts, but the real zinger are these Tom Ford frames. Of course we ran to eBay to scope out some similar models available. Here’s what we found:
Tom Ford Brown Gradient Frames and Traditional Black

1920’s Style
The Great Gatsby is finally hitting theaters May 10th, so we thought we’d remind our readers of the tremendously chic fashion options on eBay from this era. First there are the 1920’s headpieces, and a few other head adornments under the search for “antiques” to doll up any low cut luxury dress. Pair it up with a set of long flapper neck chains, and voila, you got the look. Here’s Carey Mulligan donning the style in Vogue this May 2013, photographed by Mario Testino. Sweet perfection.

The Age of Narcisco
Natalia Vodianova and Justin Portman may have split since this photo was taken by Mario Testino back in 2007, but this shot — with the hair, the poodles, and the Narcisco Rodriguez jacquard dress — is timeless. Narcisco is having something of a renaissance these last few seasons, creating strong, simple shapes that women want to wear, like this sleeveless sheath dress in white silk we found on eBay.

Best Brush
Designed by engineer and inventor Mason Pearson in the late 1800s, his namesake brush has been a staple since before the advent of sliced bread, literally. Today, it’s one of the most regularly recommended hairbrushes amongst professionals. Its premium-grade boar bristle (removed from the animal in a cruelty-free manner), is gentle on your hair and scalp, minimizing breakage. And we all know that in winter our locks need all the help they can get. If you’re looking to invest in a better brush, might we recommend checking out the offerings on eBay. We suspect you might find a good deal to complement your future of better hair.

Bidding Adieu to 2012
It’s been a massive year. We reelected a president, endured — for better and, unfortunately, worse — the wrath of Hurricane Sandy, watched the EU needle their way through total financial collapse. The list goes on. But tonight, friends, we dance! There’s no better way to celebrate the culmination of the last 365-day cycle than to put on your favorite party dress and hit the dance floor. So raise your glass, say a toast, and cut that proverbial rug… just make sure you’ve got comfortable shoes on.

Ready. Jetset. Go.
By Jenny Bahn
What do you do when you’re the editor of US Vogue? Get Mario Testino to photograph your passports, obviously. While the rest of us will likely be unable to commission Testino to save us the trip to the local Kinkos for what will likely be a garishly lit, unremarkable photograph destined to haunt us for 15 years, here’s something we can do: buy a gorgeous passport cover. No, you can’t help the horrors that might lie within those pages, but you can surely make the outside sing. We’re a big fan of this simple and elegant one by Smythson, as well as these iconic Goyard options on eBay. Say cheese!
