Deep Roots By Jenny Bahn Being low maintenance usually works in your favor when you’re a girl. You save time, money, and you’re generally more comfortable (I’ll take a pair of cool booties over some sky-highs any day, thank you very much). As a blonde, however, there’s one thing I can’t avoid: roots. I’m the girl who waits as long as she possibly can to whip things back into shape. My colorist recommends visiting him every four weeks. I’d prefer to stick to four months, frankly. That’s why I love whenever I see roots taken to the next level, making my laziness seem fashionable. Sky Ferreira’s got the old school, 90s Drew Barrymore thing going on right now, and this past season, Dries Van Noten pushed it to the extreme, giving blondes and brunettes alike roots so wrong they had to be right.  (Photo: Courtesy of Honestly WTF)
