Summer Chanel

Logos, when done badly, can be a little obnoxious. When done right, they can perfectly encapsulate the brand they’re representing (and add a little shameless street cred). Such is the case for these crave-worthy Chanel espadrilles. They’re summery without being too casual and the famous “CC” logo is just subtle enough to be complimentary. And wouldn’t you know it? I Spy: A Little Bit of French

There is something so romantic about French furniture. The delicate lines and sense of grace are comparable to none. The bench seen here would be perfect tucked into the corner of a bedroom or even a very generously sized walk-in closet (in our dreams!). There are some truly fantastic options of French-inspired furniture available on eBay. Something to keep in mind: When done incorrectly, the French style can go terribly wrong. Try to stick to something beautiful but basic. The smaller details will speak for themselves.

Everything You Need, Nothing You Don’t

Jane Keltner de Valle, fashion news director at Teen Vogue, has all the New York shoe basics covered: animal print sling-backs for Spring, Sorels for snow days, and sensible Roger Vivier buckle pumps for the occasional serious business meeting. The key here is having everything you need and nothing you don’t. If you’re not an organizational expert like de Valle (and you’re finding that your closet runneth over, so to speak), look into eBay’s Selling Assistant service, where the dirty work of getting rid of all those shoes you haven’t worn since 2007 is taken care of for you by a professional.
