Set Adrift  Too often we tend to favor simpler palates of neutral shades. But what if we dig into the archives and go for something a little more, well, gauche? David Bowie Is… London’s Victoria and Albert Museum is currently showing the very first international retrospective of the artist, who is as famous for his music as he is for pushing the boundaries of art, fashion, and sexuality. More than 300 items have been collected for the show, including handwritten lyrics, original costumes, set designs, and more. Though no one has ever been able to put David Bowie in a box, this remarkable exhibition comes as close to containing the man as anyone ever has. Notice how wisely she incorporated eBay’s tan clutch with an organic leafy spirit to illuminate the Fall season.  The competition runs another four days, so log onto eBay’s contest page and start curating.
