Fit for a Queen
Back in the 17th century, the big trend with royalty and the wealthy class was to amass an entire set of matching jewelry, otherwise known as Parure. Women such as Queen Elizabeth to Napoleon’s wife were the stars of this period with the biggest toys.
Cartier released this particular series, The Parure collection, made of amethysts and gold in 1850. Since most of us cannot splurge on our own Parure’s, how about the next best thing? eBay has a lovely selection of Cartier’s with Amethyst stone that can make you feel like quite the queen in your own right.

Curator Corner: Foxes
Foxes are magical creatures of the animal spirit realm. It is believed by Shaman culture that wearing them in the form of jewelry can sprinkle good luck on any user who chooses to wear the furry friend. eBay curator Zem Joaquin, founder of the website Ecofabulous, curated an entire collection of foxes — from sculptures to gold pendants — in order to bring this animal more into your life.

Street Style: Delfina Delettrez
Delfina Delettrez was born to be a powerful creative force. Surrounded by the regal elegance of her family, the fourth generation Fendi launched her own accessories line in 2007 with an opening collection of bizarrely curious frogs, skulls, and gothic romanticism. Delfina told The New York Times “These are not classic pieces, they are for women with a strong character and a sense of humor. Not everyone is going to wear a ring with a pig on it.” The Inside Source met her in Miami soaking in some art during Miami’s Art Basel. We especially are coveting her sleek personal Fendi bag with it’s own sense of humor, almost affirming the need for her to personify each accessory.

Currently, we spotted another creature bag, the rare Fendi Fur Monster clutch on eBay, however, the classic Fendi large handbags are generally more available. You can also dive into the universe of Delfina’s jewelry with a few pieces found on eBay.

Curator Corner: Wild Things

Wild thing / You make my heart sing / You make everything groovy —  the sensual words were cooed by Jimi Hendrix who couldn’t have said it any better. eBay curator OakGem pulled together these primal pieces, mostly Cartier pieces, to channel the wild energy through jewelry.

eBay Collection Crave: Cartier Ring
So you think the ’70s was an unfashionable decade? Let this vintage Cartier ring challenge your assumptions. It recently caught the eye of Kelly Woxford, a New York Times best selling author (and avid eBayer). Kelly, quite a fashionable and talented woman, if we do say so ourselves, recently dropped this beauty into her own eBay Collection. Click here to see it.
