Faye Dunaway’s Fashion Film
One of Faye Dunaway’s most interesting roles, Puzzle of a Downfall Child (1970) has been shrouded in obscurity for quite some years. The hard-to-find film follows a supermodel fallen from grace with a nervous breakdown looking back on her life. Only a few YouTube teaser clips live online. The DVD was non-existent until last year, when The Cannes Film Festival re-introduced the newly DCP restored print and honored the film by making the homage Cannes 2011 Official Poster. There’s barely a few DVD’s on eBay, but we noticed an amazing selection of prints and some chic movie posters also. Keep an eye open for this film as it slowly unravels in the United States via art house theaters.

We Heart Meryl
One can never have too many Meryl Streep movies in the collection. Remember, a good ol’ fashioned DVD has actor and director commentaries, unlike your average film download which robs you of backstories. Here’s my top 5 movies if you want to get started absorbing the range of this goddess.
(1) Kramer vs Kramer (bid starts $10)
(2) Sophies Choice (bid starts .99 cents)
(3) Devil Wears Prada (bid starts $4.50)
(4) Adaptation (bid starts $1.99)
(5) Out of Africa (bid starts $5.99)
