Are you ready for a thing called LOVE? We are too… and we lovvvvvve this classic caddy Bonnie Raitt is affectionately resting on. Arguably one of the oldest automobile brands in the world (next to the Buick), this American luxury vehicle was founded in 1902 by a master mechanic and entrepreneur named Henry Leland who was linked to the ancestry of early Detroit. Since then, Cadillac has simply been the car to measure all other cars against due to its technological advances when it was introduced.

Art Stars Tag Up a Classic

What do art legends like Jeff Koons, Jenny Holzer, David Hockney, Alexander Calder, Roy Lichtenstein, and Andy Warhol have in common? They love BMW. Currently, the classic car brand is exhibiting a myriad of vehicles designed by expertly curated art icons. The collection took 35 years to amass, and what better time to show off to the world than the 2012 Olympics? Artist Frank Stella (seen above) added slick shark fins to his piece. 
The Mayor of London got together with BMW and ICA and took over a landmark car park in Shoreditch to   [MORE] present these treasures. Other artists include Ernst Fuchs, Robert Rauschenberg, M.J Nelson, Ken Done, Matazo Kayama, Cesar Manrique, A.R Penck, Esher Mahlangu, and Sandro Chia. The price to be behold these beauties? Free. The exhibit runs through August 4th… on view at Great Eastern Street Car Park, Shoreditch 35 - 45, Great Eastern Street Shoreditch, Greater London.
