Chloe Sevigny’s Is Selling Her New York Souvenir
The Re/Create New York auction for Sandy relief launched last week by CREATE THE GROUP is off to a healthy start. In partnership with eBay and Rackspace, a few pieces have already been sold on the auction site, RecreateNewYork.org. The next round of ten items is available January 17th, including this souvenir of Dreamland, an amusement park in… [MORE] New York’s Coney Island. Produced at the turn of the century with mother-of-pearl inlay, the piece is made by Obscura, the finest purveyor of antique oddities. Chloe Sevigny is giving up this gem for a good cause. Digital gurus CREATE THE GROUP, in partnership with eBay and Rackspace, are beginning their first part of the auction tomorrow with 10 pieces going on sale. There will be two more consecutive auctions following the first one tomorrow. This book is slated to drop tomorrow at the auction, and is a full history of the Princes of Monaco. The superb collection item is signed by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The mission? To help raise funds for Sandy Relief. Several notable figures including Kate Moss, Marc Jacobs, Julianne Moore, Tom Ford and more are donating a personal item for auction. To name one of the gems, here is a pair of one-of-a-kind Nike Air Yeezy II Sneakers designed, worn, and signed by Kanye West. You’ll have to wait two more weeks to bid on this item (seen above), which is the limited edition signature line by Kanye West for Nike. To bid on these sneakers, visit RecreateNewYork/Kanye-West on January 24th.
