Insta-Peep-o-Gram: The Buick GSX
By Jauretsi
Today on my voyage through Instagram, I actually learned something. Car enthusiast Alexander T Pavone posted a rare creature of a vehicle with a note that reads: “So I saw this guy parked the other day and I almost didn’t believe my eyes. Cue incar guy: This is a Buick GSX. Made from 1970-74. These could quite possibly be one of the most rare muscle cars. The 455 stage 1 models (which this was) were Buick’s alternative to the popular GTO in the early 70’s. I’ve heard of these and seen pictures but have yet to see one the road. After some research I realized there was only 278,455 models made in the first year. Needless to say this may be my favorite non zombie car that I’ve found.”
