Grab the Gloss While you might not go for the technicolor pout featured here, it’s not a bad idea to pump up the gloss over the shade of your choice. When colored or tinted gloss can’t provide the strong pigment we’re after, a couple of us at The Inside Source have been known to lay down a matte foundation and then douse those lips in a favorite gloss. Happy Birthday, Audrey!

The Inside Source would like take a moment of silence to honor Audrey Hepburn. Last week, May 4th, was her birthday. Born in 1929, we lost the screen legend in 1993 but her spirit lives with us forever… as well as with every curious and lost city girl channeling Holly Golightly (the original Carrie Bradshaw).

Photojeanic: The Jeans Cult by Giovanni Bianco is one of those vague and illusive books that make you question what the title really means. In the age of Google, this is no small feat. Shot by fashion photographers (according to one website), the book features photography exploring our obsession with denim in clever ways and obscure settings, making us consider the strong universality and democratic nature of this famed fabric.
