Meet Xiao Wen Ju, the first Chinese model to be the face of Marc Jacobs.  The Inside Source caught up with Xiao in Paris near the Grand Palais wearing shredded black denim shorts and her favorite Balenciaga shoes.
Inspired by her footwear, we searched eBay for a myriad of other Balenciaga shoes and found a treasure trove.

Miami based model Svetlana Mihajlovic walks through the Wynwood District checking out art although her jumpsuit itself resembles a canvas of splatted paint. Inspired by Svetlana’s pink Balenciaga bag, we found a few more purses available on eBay.

Musical Chairs at LV

After a week of nail biting, rumors that Nicolas Ghesquière will be taking over from Marc Jacobs as Creative Director at Louis Vuitton have still not been confirmed. Whatever the case, there’s going to be a bit of a shuffle. As we all know, Alexander Wang is deep into his new position at Balenciaga, having just presented his second collection this past fashion week following Nicolas Ghesquière’s departure last November.

Whether Nicolas Ghesquière is confirmed or not, it appears Jacobs is for sure on the out. Now the question is, Where will Marc Jacobs go? Marc recently told the New York Times he’s going to lay low for a sec and just focus on his own line.

We suggest you snatch up some collector Marc Jacobs-era Louis Vuitton on eBay before the new stuff hits the stores — quite possibly designed by Ghesquière. Stay tuned.

Be a Sport
Athletics had a heavy hand in fashion last year and we suspect it will continue throughout 2013. Letterman jackets, fashion sweats, high heels disguised as sneakers… the list goes on. But most of what we’ve previously seen merely hinted at sports. This fashionable lady takes it to the next level, donning a proper Chicago Bulls jacket — in nylon, no less. If you feel like staying on trend and repping your hometown, check out the selection of letterman jackets on eBay. Whether you’re a Bulls fan or you’re feeling the Clippers these days, we think you’ll find what you’re looking for. And don’t forget to kick that sporty outfit up a notch and pair it with heels by Balenciaga or Alexander Wang.

Alexander Wang Takes Over Balenciaga
By Jauretsi
This week, Alexander Wang will be taking the reigns of the respected fashion house started by a Basque designer in 1918. Wang will serve as the new creative director, which was freshly announced by WWD. The PPR-owned fashion house selected Wang to replace the highly acclaimed Nicolas Ghesquière (who had his final day at the house last week). Wow. The game is getting interesting.
Wang has extremely enormous shoes to fill, but the young designer (almost 30 years old) has proved to manage his own fashion house with grace and aplomb. The trick will be for Wang to grow Balenciaga while nurturing his own line, too. We’re counting the days until we see Wang’s first Balenciaga collection. No doubt that Ghesquière will be moving on to finer challenges in his own illustrious career. Our eyes are equally focused on both genius minds. Let the games begin.

eBay Search Alert: Balenciaga’s “Pumpkin Papier” Tote
By Jauretsi
I’ve been coveting this sweet creation since I saw the images floating around this past New York Fashion Week. It’s the Balenciaga “Pumpkin Papier” Tote created by Grace Coddington and Nicolas Ghesquière. It’s not an easy find… we suspect because nobody wants to give up their Limited Edition jewel. Until we spot one of these rare birds on eBay, here’s a few other Balenciaga Papier Bags or Totes to satisfy the itch.

You can never have enough sweatshirts in your lifetime. We’re sorta obsessed with Balenciaga’s “Join a Weird Trip” version of the the average sweatshirt. Thank God nothing for Balenciaga is average.
