Insta-Peep-o-Gram: Ilkin Sarilgan

Whoever said black and white can be dull and boring hasn’t stumbled across the Instagram feed of Ilkin Sarilgan. The images, done entirely in monochrome, are perfectly saturated still lifes of fashion in the abstract. Never one to be obvious, Sarilgan’s images are often done piecemeal — a collarbone here, a foot there, a shoe, an ankle. It is its subtleness and dedication to bold, thoughtful simplicity that makes it endlessly chic.
