I Spy: Cuckoo Clocks
Do you see it? Right there? That gorgeous little thing on the wall at the back? We’re talking about the cuckoo clock. Don’t worry; we almost missed it, too. Never before had we thought to incorporate something generally considered to be design-clueless kitsch (inherited from grandma and grandpa, of course) into a clean industrial space. This one, however, has been specially chosen. As cuckoo clocks go, it is dark and minimalist (no little red-hatted gnomes popping out, thank you very much), better accentuating its intricate design features and gothic details. Check out the large cuckoo clocks available on eBay right now. We think it’s about time everyone have one up on their wall.
