Deconstructing Time By Jenny Bahn Quentin Carnaille makes watches that don’t work — not in the traditional sense, at least. The 26-year-old visionary instead designs pieces that are more of an homage to time and horology. Carnaille’s timepieces are more of an intellectual experiment. By taking the tiniest pieces apart, and reconstructing them into intricate designs, the young watchmaker prefers to create baby snowflakes instead of tracking time.
