Get Ready for Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week begins today, September 25th. To get into the mood, we present you with Taschen’s “must have” book, Paris, Portrait of a City. It leads us through what Goethe described as a “universal city where every step upon a bridge or a square recalls a great past, where a fragment of history is unrolled at the corner of every street”. Photographers include Daguerre, Marville, Atget, Lartigue, Brassaï, Kertész, Ronis, Doisneau, and Cartier-Bresson among many others. The book is available on the Taschen website for $69.99. I spotted a few other Taschen/Paris items on eBay if you’d like to add to this collection. And now, let the shows begin!
